Lazy Sunday in Paris

There isn’t too much better in life than a lazy Sunday afternoon. The weather is mild, the sun is shining, and you don’t have anywhere in particular to go. Sunday was like that for me. I went to church service in the morning, heard an awesome word from a pastor that I actually knew from Virginia. Went to breakfast and had awesome eggs benedict. (Sorry there is no pic, I ate it way too fast!)

I walked down the Seine River to the Eiffel Tower. CROWDED!! It’s tourist season and a holiday weekend, so there were people everywhere. I sat down on the river for a few moments just to take it all in. I then walked down the Champ de Mars were people were having picnics and watching a tennis match. I met up with some friends at Café Pigalle for happy hour. 6euro cocktails…don’t mind if I do! These friends were new to town so we walked down Rue de Clichy to Moulin Rouge to take some pics. People are always amazed at the amount of sex shops in that two block walk. Up the hill to Cave des Abbesses to drink some wine, further up the hill to see Sacre Coeur, more pics, down the hill to a wine bar that was closed due to the holiday and then they called an Uber.

Gotta love a chill Sunday in Paris.
