Growing Trend of States Trying to Lower Drinking Age
Let's be honest here, most of us had a sip (or 7) of alcohol before we were 21. A lot of us were scared of our parents or we just knew the effects of alcohol so we didn't overdo it. But a lot of binge drinking has been taking place on college campuses with teens these days...how can we solve this problem?
One idea is to lower the drinking age. Take the mystery and allure out of drinking by providing education and certification for 19 and 20 year olds to allow them to drink. And hold the parents responsible as well. Senate Bill 429 aims to do just this.
