I feel like DC never has a shortage of wine events. Or any type of beverages events for that matter. This makes me happy, because I was in town :-). And at Longview Gallery no less!
If you know anything about me and my wine tastes, you know that at any given time, my ‘favorite wine’ can and will be anything. But! If you gift me a Rhone varietal, you really love me!! So anytime the Rhone Rangers has anything, I literally drop everything and show up.
The Rhone Rangers is a non-profit organization that focuses on educating and promoting Rhone varietal wines produced in the US. Membership currently consists of over 200 wineries from California, Oregon, Washington State, Idaho, Michigan and Virginia.
Now on to the tasting!! I definitely enjoyed some ‘new-to-me’ producers and always enjoy reacquainting myself with old favorites. Here are a few wines I tasted and you need to find at your local shop.
